At this time, Kaifeng has 5 paper production lines and 1 paper processing line. In 1939, He Zuyin, the manager of Shanghai Kaicheng Stationery Co., Ltd., sent Mr.Huang Guoyuan to Suichang to rent houses and build thatched huts in Dongyu Street, Miaogao Town and open a "Kaicheng Paper Factory" to product stylus wax base paper in January 1940.
In 1998, Zhejiang Kan Paper Co., Ltd. was established.
In 1999, it was renamed Zhejiang Kan Specialty Paper Co., Ltd.
In August 2003, Zhejiang Kaifeng Paper Co., Ltd. was established and settled in Longyou Industrial Park—— Provincial Economic Development Zone in Zhejiang Province.
In July 2004, Kan shares IPO successfully, and the shares were listed in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (code 002012). In 2006, the company officially moved into the new factory.
In 2013, Kaifeng Paper acquired Haikuo Paper Industry and renamed it as Zhejiang Kaifeng Specialty Paper Co., Ltd.
In 2015, Zhejiang Kaifeng Paper Co., Ltd. changed its name to Zhejiang Kaifeng New Material Co., Ltd., and was successfully listed on the new OTC market (code: 835427)
